Home Assistant renamed "add-ons" to "apps" recently.

Whyyyyyyyyyy? It's so frustrating that they are still moving stuff around like this.

Guides, documentation, and videos all point at add-ons - and have done for years - so unless you have a _really good reason_, don't change it!

Working on a CICD video. I did part 1 last year with the Forgejo instance (self-hosted Github). Part 2 was simple-ish, create a local github runner in forgejo and use that to deploy VMs to build k8s clusters in proxmox but auto deploy them based on a gitops model.

so I've now relearned how to deploy Forgejo, setup a Forgejo runner, vibe coded a simple Go app to test CI builds work, found that docker in docker inside an LXC is a bad plan, fixed that, and i haven't even gotten to the s3 meat of the video yet. :yak:

Montreal to RDU cancelled due to maintenance issues. Next flight? 26hrs later.

Next flight itinerary available rerouted me via YYZ which is where I wanted to fly home via in the first place. Modern aviation is insanity sometimes.

I suspect I’ll be home about a grand total of 24hrs late. 😤

In Vancouver this week, out for an early run. Quite a nice place for a city.

Rainy Sunday projects continue. A wonderful AMS stacker (AM4xs on makerworld) unit on a cabinet I made years ago nicely organizing my filaments.
